Ferns

Did you know... a ferns new leaf is called a 'frond' which contains the leaf, stalk and blade!
Ferns come in all shapes and varieties. One of the most common families is Polypodiaceae. This family includes an estimated 1,650 species! 

Basic Care Tips and Tricks: 
1. Ferns can do with any type of soil - they are not too picky! Here is CO the less bark the better!
2. Ferns like to be wet all of the time! Don't let their soil dry out! Pro tip: misting them once a day helps with fluffier leaves!
3. Ferns are versatile when it comes to light - bright indirect to lower light is appreciated - too much sun can burn these leaves!
