Tillandsia, which is a genus made up of approximately 650 species, is a member of the family Bromeliaceae! These plants are native to tropical forests, mountains and deserts of northern Mexico and south-eastern United! They grow off the sides of trees as epiphyte and thrives off of the rain and organisms around it!

Basic Care Tips and Tricks:
1. Tillandsia are Epiphytes - spray them 2x a day in Colorado for best results!
2. Bright indirect light to a lower light setting will make your air plant very happy!
3. Once your air plant flowers - it will 'pup' and make a new baby that will also flower!
