Tradescantia

Tradescantia is apart of a  genus of 85 species of herbaceous perennial wildflowers! They are in the family Commelinaceae, which are native to the US, Southern Canada and Northern Argentina! Members of the genus are known by many common names, including inch plant and spiderwort.
Basic Care Tips and Tricks:
1. Tradescantia like bright light but not direct! The brighter the light the brighter the color!
2. Tradescantia grow in a bush like form, if you hang they up they will vine down - just make sure the top of your plant ALWAYS gets light!
3. Tradescantia like to dry out all they way! These guys are known for root rot!
